Become a Member
Memberships to the Friends’ organization are available to purchase in the bookstore or online. By purchasing a membership you are helping to fund programs for children and teens at the library, purchase film licenses for the library’s movie nights, provide the free literary magazine, BookPage, to library patrons, and purchase museum passes that can be checked out through the library for free admission.
Donate
Donations are another way we help fundraise for the Weymouth libraries. During bookstore hours you can drop off donated books to be sold at our store or come by our bookstore to make a financial donation (and say “hi”). We also accept financial donations here online. Again, these donations help fund teen and kid programs, film licenses, BookPage, and museums passes, which are all accessible through our libraries.
Shop
Our little bookstore is the heart of our club and one of our biggest fundraisers for the libraries. We carry gently used books and CDs and have a few other things for sale too. (During bookstore hours you can also donate gently used books and CDs — no donation is too small)! Inventory changes quickly, so come on by to see what’s new.
Volunteer
As a volunteer-based organization, we are always looking for more people to join our team. We always need help running the bookstore, putting together fundraising events, and are always on the look out for more community centered, book lovers who want to join the bookstore, communications, fundraising, or membership committees. We hope you join our team.
