Great question! Your sponsorhships and donations help fund many free programs for children, teens, and adults at the libraries, purchase film licenses for the library’s movie nights, provide the free literary magazine BookPage to library patrons, and purchase museum passes that can be checked out through the library for free admission.

Both are excellent organizations in Weymouth that help raise money for our libraries’ future! The Friends tend to focus on supporting daily programs and smaller events at the libraries, where as the Foundation focuses on larger purchases and programs for the libraries. For example, the Foundation sponsored the amazing artist walls in the Children’s Library at Tufts!
